Breitwisch Farm by Jeremy J. Kamps MARCH 2ND - 17TH
The Farm is at Town Stages, 221 West Broadway:
Unprotected legal status of immigrants. Football players turned activists. Environmental destruction and the rise of the alt right in political power. But this isn’t Trump’s 2018, but a small organic farm in rural Wisconsin in 2011. The middle class has long been disappearing. Democracy has long been corroding. This farm, a bastion of idealism surrounded by cynicism, is a home for people who have nowhere else to go. So what happens when it’s gone? www.esperancetheatercompany.org |

New York Theater Workshop Fellowship Program

Excited to lend my insight and artistry to works in progress, I'm playing multiple roles in
THE NORTHERN PASS. A collaboration between photo journalist Dominic Bracco(http://www.primecollective.com/life-and-death-in-the-northern-pass/) and director Danya Taymor. The Northern Pass is an epic drama that explores the darker sides of mankind. The story, which takes place in Ciudad Juarez during the height of the war for the city, follows several characters’ narrative lines and connects them through the protagonist Pollo on his attempt to care for his family. It is a story of self-discovery, but also representative of that time and place. All of the characters are composites of people Bracco met while working there. The photographic works focus on the war, a period of mafia imposed peace, and finally reconciliation. We are in the midst of adapting source material from long-form narrative into a play.

COHAB Pilot

In June 2015 I played Adrienne, one of Lucy's best friends in the Pilot episode of COHAB. Self produced and written by Rachel Mewbron, directed by Dave Quay, Cohab is about what it means to Cohabitate: co-hab-i-tate (kō-hăb′ĭ-teyt) v. To dwell with another, or share the same place; to coexist. Friends, lovers, coworkers, enemies, the people we pass on the street. All of our space is shared. And, with all of the people in it, so are our lives.

The Ghosts of Lote Bravo directed by Elena Araoz.
I jumped in to play La Santa Muerte in Bettis' compeling play presented through Project Y Theater Company's Parity Plays series. The play is occurs in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico where young girls often disappear. Many turn up murdered. Juanda Cantu’s daughter, Raquel, is one of these girls. Through visions offered by La Santa Muerte, Juanda is shown Raquel’s past only to discover that her daughter had hopes, dreams and courage Juanda knew nothing about. The Ghosts of Lote Bravo is a play about great hope in the midst of relentless violence, poverty and grief. Worth it!
